Before installing the exhaust in my p220, me and my friend disassembled the outer shell of the exhaust and fitted a vast amount of glass wool fabric, the fabric allows more base and smoother sound.
The db killer exhaust can be customized in three different sounds, as per rider's need.
1) without db killer:disassembling the db killer makes exhaust freeflow exhaust, the sound is most loud in this mod.
2) with db killer: the bike will now sound as normal as stock exhaust. fuel efficiency increases with db killer, while it goes down without db killer.
3)with db killer variant-second: In this mod, the sound is neither much loud nor it is silent, bike sounds better at higher rpm in this variant

back fire, pull the throttle up to higher rpm and simultaneously turn off and on the ignition button.
the backfire works best with an freeflow exhaust.

and you can simply ask the shopkeeper that "bhaiyya db killer wala exhaust he kya" ;) hahaha
